Youth

History has it that the youth was a group of people who used to meet for Bible discussions and with time they later inter-married. The age bracket encompasses 25-40. By and by, there was a notable transition initiated by Rev Bill then a visiting minister from the USA in the reign of Dr Rev. Ngoima Mbugua and youth chairman Tito Mbugua.

The key agenda at this point was to feed the street children and by the same token bring together the youth from all walks of life with a common goal, of serving humanity as a way of giving back to the community.

Then there came the Bible Study. The Bible Study became a forum where young people from varying backgrounds, cultures and ideologies would meet to deliberate upon issues affecting them regardless of these and other differences. Soon the concept of a Youth Pastor was realized and Pastor Kibuthu was employed and put in charge of the Youth.

In a span of four years the youth- whose mission is making a difference for Christ have managed to accomplish this in various activities some that had never been done before. Some of these activities include one or more of the following: seminars, music concerts, crazy olympics and other business ventures e.g. car washing at a fee, sale of T-shirts and junk food.
