Justice Peace Reconciliation Committee

The main purpose of the PCEA Peace Programme is to develop initiatives which target all members of society to challenge, equip and support congregations of the church, to contribute more actively to a stable and lasting peace in Kenya.

PCEA strongly affirms that peacemaking is the believers calling, that the compassionate, redeeming and reconciliatory ministry of Jesus Christ is reflected in the biblical call for discipleship, namely to be ambassadors of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5: 16-20), to minister to those in need (Mathew 25: 31-46), to be an advocate for the oppressed (Luke 4: 18-19) and to be present in the ministry of peacemaking.
